How could you not want to go to OSU and play for this man I have no idea.....this was awesome
Although his manner of speaking can be a little unpolished (how many times do we hear words like hell sort of awkwardly thrown into a question?), this video is worth watching. It is clear that he loves this sport, loves Ohio, and wants to share that. The fact that he spoke for an hour to a group of high school coaches speaks volumes to where his priorities are.
This also gave me flashbacks to Woody and his love for the game, emphasis on education and finding good, disciplined players. (See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZCnocVvhgA) Coach Meyer is incredibly competitive and in your face about it, but the entire time he is talking here, you can tell how much he cares about the young men he is coaching. We could not ask for a better person to be at the helm of the Buckeyes, and to all of his critics: Watch this and then try to tell me how "evil" this guy is.
One hell of a coach right there.

Is this part of a bunch of trolling? I tried to check his account, but there is no access so maybe something happened with him I'm not aware of. I'm just suprised at the extreme negative response to this post (seeing as what he posted actually happened whether you like it or not).
Edit: Nevermind, it didn't take long to find the meltdown. Still, we need to be careful about going and downvoting every single post by someone if that post isn't offensive and we just dislike the person. It is usually frowned on by the staff.

He cares about the entire state of Ohio's football. He wants everyone to be better. A rising tide lifts all boats.
That was long, but worthwhile. Anyone involved in training/coaching/educating should watch... people pay thousands of dollars to sit through seminars like this.
