Does anyone know what actually came of all the hoopla regarding autograph sessions of active players at T-Town Menswear and the use of player names/images for sales promotion?
It seems like it was a big story for a couple of months last year then disappeared. NCAA magic? Was there any kind of determination made that these were not violations?
Basically Bama said it was the first they heard about it, refuted any claims that it was a problem, issuesd a letter to the guy, told the players to steer clear, and told the NCAA to "move on, there's nothing to see here". As you can see from the photos of Mc and his gf the warnings really did a good job of severing all ties between the store owner and the players.
Much has been written about the national press going after OSU, but the reality is that the local press in Cbus stirs the pot and attacks anything that remotely has the appearance of impropriety. The national press just runs with their lead. There is nothing like that for Bama to contend with, and if anyone down there had the mind to try, they would be run out of town on a rail. Heck, pissing in an alley in Cbus is national news. Giving out suits in Tuscaloosa, not a problem.
You have a good point about the Columbus media. But I do recall al.com doing reporting on these issues. It is likely the parties directly involved in these alleged violations that have the sense to keep their mouths shut.

From the blog post:
From AJ McCarron's twitter account:
Is it just me, or did her excessive makeup spoil her obvious natural beauty for anyone else?
See it all the time on southern girls, not my thing. Plus she's a beauty pageant girl. Yuck.
I like my women a bit more natural.
I'm with you. I've been going back and forth as to who was more overrated: Notre Dame or AJ McCarron's girlfriend.
whoa M TOTS -- I just typed the same thing; I didn't even see what you wrote till after ... great minds think alike

amen, brother! I've been saying this all day. Too much makeup! I don't really find her that attractive. Big teeth, too.
Side-by-side: Miss Universe/Miss USA/Miss Rhode Island vs. Miss 'Bama. I'll take Ms. Uni. all day.
I don't know who was more overrated last night: Notre Dame or Miss 'Bama?

Alright, guy, you're starting to overplay your hand with these Miss Universe posts of yours. Might want to tone it down for at least a day.
Wait, wasn't that T-Town Menswear dude previously affiliated with some sketchy dealings with one Trent Richardson?
And isn't that Alabama's star quarterback's girlfriend right there with him?
Yeah, probably nothing.
Funny cat videos are flippin hilarious. Funny cat videos used to make a point, even better.
There's probably a spot for you to waste some time on Reddit then. The obsession with cats on that website is quite disturbing.

Not the most reputable website, and most is from last year, but there is quite a bit related to TTOWN

Even with a disclaimer, never link that awful website. Don't feed him.

This is and always will be true: Show me the most desireable woman in the world and I'll show you a guy who is tired of her crap!
They never seem to do these GF spotlights with black guys or black women. I'm just sayin. I love my black women.
