Great to hear about Alex Boone getting on the right track. This is why you hang in there for these guys. Tressell caught some grief keeping him going through his problems. But he made it through to become a productive guy in both footballl and most importantly, life. Great to hear from these two. James has always been a topshelf Buckeye and am very proud of both.

Time does fly Dubjay. It is hard to believe.

That's the thing that most people don't realize about Coach Tressel.  He genuinely cared for the players and (to a fault) would do everything he could for them.  Those who are not in the central Ohio area or follow OSU closely only see him in regards to the bad press, which is an unfair portrait of the man.

YEah - I remember hearing Tress kept in touch with Clarett almost monthly while he was in jail.  That's pretty cool, regardless of one might think of Clarett.

Alex Boone just got beat around the edge and gave up another sack to the Florida dline in the NC game.

Joking aside, always good to see someone get through their personal demons to have a successful career. Glad to see a former Buckeye battle through to success.

When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."

Great to see Boone get his life in line.

It's 50% getting his life together and 50% being coached by a qualified offensive line coach, not somebody who should be working at the snack bar.

Boone, Mike Adams, Brewster and all those other top lineman prospects should get together and file a class action lawsuit against Jim Bollman for all the money he cost them.

Maybe Boone and Adams shouldn't have been drunk/high lazy asses and worked hard on their own time to get better? Mangold and Sims seemed to do that. Everyone wants to put every ounce of blame on coaches and not on the players.

There has to be a reason that many four and five star offensive lineman turned into UDFA's while Iowa turns two star tight ends into first round picks.

I'm not saying he was a great coach but sometimes players need to take alittle accountability and "develop themselves" so to speak. Brewster was a damn good Center for 3 years and kind of stumbled his senior year..was that Bolmans fault that he couldn't snap the ball correctly in 2011? Did Bolman roll the blunts for Mike and buy the 12 packs for Alex? No. They ultimately dictated whether they would be Elite players or not.
