The entire state of Tennessee is in mourning today. And it is GLORIOUS!

It is pretty somber here in Knoxville. And yet, there are plenty of fans still holding out hope that a Gruden deal isn't dead.

And by somber I actually mean armageddon. I can't even listen to sports radio down here right now without hearing caller after caller flipping out. It's just one conflicting report after another, and no one has any idea what to believe.

I think the only one stunned by this will be OSUFORLIFE.

An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches

I anticipate Osulife creating mutliple threads regarding this....

I think the title says it best, TO THE SUPRISE OF NOONE OUTSIDE OF KNOXVILLE.  Did they really think he was going to coach there?  Of course I remember people thinking he would be here coaching too.  I think any time a real high profile job like Tennesee or Ohio State come up, his name will be mentioned.

Gruden's name comes up too damn much for open coaching jobs.  I get that Gruden as ties to Ohio and Tennessee, but he has never given us any reason to seriously believe that he would take a college coaching job, or any coaching job for that matter.
