Sports Illustrated's Inspector Clouseau being sued by former UCLA player for defamation, including "recklessly and negligently (failing) to investigate the claims in the article." (tmz.com via @DrPattiJones)
Well, well, well. Someone is calling Dohrman for writing speculative, sensationalist bullcrap. Good. I honestly don't care if Dohrmann's report on UCLA and Reeves Nelson was accurate or 'reckless'. Its clear to me that SI has given him free license to write whatever he wants regardless of what is fact or fiction. Maybe throughout this lawsuit George will decide to write an invesitgative piece on the 'dark side of the legal process'...
Whoa whoa whoa...Dohrmann failed to thoroughly investigate claims??? Dohrmann may have held a grudge and wrote about it?!?
BUT HE WON A PULITZER!!!!!! THAT MEANS EVERYTHING HE SAYS MUST BE UNQUESTIONED FACT!!!! HOW COULD SUCH A SCOUNDREL INFILTRATE THE RANKS OF SPORTS WRITERS?!?!?
Seriously though, I hope he gets what's coming to him
More people should sue Dohrmann. In the meantime, I maintain and promote the boycott of SI. SI is easy to skip, ESECPN is more difficult to avoid during the season.

This is just awesome.
For the record-Rigging Raffles is still a crime punishable by death.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
Hope this is a long and dirty struggle

If Denard Robinson isn't careful with spooning all that food into his mouth, he's going to end up lookin' like Whoopi Goldberg
Well played.
Somebody needs to stop these tabloid sportswriters! Make the accountable for their bs.
Now if someone will only sue Matt Hayes for the Enquirer-type pieces he puts out, the world would be a better place.
