I'll bet that's a really hard class with Urb teaching it. If I was still in school I would definitely give it a go.
Haha...that'll get some people up early for a change. All of a sudden, 7:30 AM classes are popular at OSU...or at least one of them is.
I took Tressel's class (same time etc but 3 days x week) and it was the best class I've ever had in my life
That would have been incredible.
How did you get in? I tried, but as expected, never made the cut.
Edit: Cooper years
When you're holding a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
Random question - does he get paid (aside from his coaching salary) to teach this class?
I imagine this class is included in his duties and covered by his salary.
Your mom told me she wants a Dicken Cidar.
Priority scheduling (honors, disability)/more credit hours get the first shot
Thought this was so cool when Tressel did it, just as cool now that Meyer is doing it. This definitely needs to become an official tradtion for all of our future head coaches.
"I'm Willie Buckets, and I approve this message"
"It's a practice begun under Woody Hayes, who initiated the OSU tradition of teaching a coaching class. Hayes passed it down to Bruce, who taught until Cooper took over, followed by Tressel."
Sounds like Cooper didn't teach, but it's a pretty long-standing 'tradition'.
Very cool. I knew Woody was a teacher, but that wasn't too uncommon in his day. I didn't know Bruce and Cooper taught though.
EDIT: Misread the Cooper part at first.
Curious if anyone else is taking this class this semester?
