So it doesn't seem clear to me that this dude can play from that. I want to be excited about this. If this is true (maybe even without it) my final 2 in this year's bracket -- Kentucky vs Ohio State....revenge game.

That is good that he is eligible but is he enrolled I bet he will have to wait until winter qtr to play.

I remember the talk was something about early December at the earliest. So I'm guessing he just has to wait until the end of Fall quarter before he can play and not the start of Winter quarter.
