that's not really what the ESPN article is saying. It's saying OSU got a notice of inquiry, not a notice of allegations (that part was a little extra editorializing by ESPN).
I don't think Jerry Emig could be considered a "Dashette"........so- that's kind of out of Pat's wheelhouse there.......

My gut tells me this isn't going to end up well.
Had to leave pretty much right after seeing the original claim of new letter sent in regards to further investigation. Hope this holds true.
Edit: I do get very wary of anything said by anyone until an official statement is released. Just too much room for word play.
Wonder how much of this is deflection by the WWLiSR. I think they are uncomfortable with the amount of attention being paid to DeLoss Dodds' shenanigans with the LHN.
The wheels are falling off the Big XII and ESPiN bears a great deal of responsibility for what's going to happen.

According to the Dispatch, the letter concerns procedural matters for the Aug 12 hearing.

True, but from reading Doug Lesmerises' Twitter page, although he says that it's not time to panic, he's fairly certain that Friday won't be the end of it.
Lynch & his comments on the matter are reassuring but noticed tonight that the lingo changed from "letter" to "contacted/informed" in regards to investigation. That is entirely possible & hope it isn't the case.
Agree with someone who mentioned it, that I would love for it to be squashed completely but just b/c he says no letter, no new investigation ... that does not mean there is absolutely nothing. Anyways, hope egg is on the face of espn. Even if it ends up being the case, they won't own up to it.
As a sidenote, are there no practice notes from today?
No notes on any of the sites from practice today. Could it be that it was closed to media today? Most likely.

We do, but the Fickinator sealed it off with a 300 ton boulder. Now, we can only attend practice when it's open to the media. Tomorrow, next Tuesday and next Thursday we'll have practice reports.
Big 10 Network is going to be there on Monday. Are you guys not allowed in at the same time?

I think we're going to be "perpetually investigated". Most likely the NCAA is going to set up shop in an office underneath Ohio Stadium. This can't be good.

Not sure, but either way he is now. It all comes down to whether the NCAA can trust his word and evidence.
