Interesting wrinkle to all this. Not hard to believe this might've been on the Coach's mind and was part of probably numerous reasons why he didn't fess up earlier. Regardless, shitty situation to be in.

Add this in to the facts that Rife was a witness to a murder and drug trafficking was mentioned, JT had a real reason to be scared for his players lives. Something for the NCAA to consider?

Not to criticize an article in support of the Vest, but he didnt comply with federal authorites requests for confidentiality. Obviously if the authorities had asked him to keep this info under wraps we would not be in this situation.
