He saw the writing on the wall man. Butler goes to two Final Fours, Indiana gets a big recruiting class...the state of Indiana is shifting against him. Big12 on the other hand is ripe for the picking. Texas sucks past Jan., Kansas is slowing down, Colorado almost wins the conference tourney?, Nebraska leaves. Missouri is a good basketball school, getting better.

Would I leave Purdue to coach at Missouri? No. Is this a huge blow for the Big Ten overall? Yes. Do I think he's a moron? Yes.

I don't know, is Mizzou even a lateral move at this point? They have a competitive team what 1 time every 10 years?

Word is that Painter just got a C.R.E.A.M. tattoo on his chest (Cash Rule Everything Around Me). Still unclear as to whether he traded his Coach of Year awards in exchange for the tat.
