The best Mexican joint near Ohio State campus.

Cazuela's Grill features the finest Mexican eats near The Ohio State campus, and it is rightfully beloved by many. So it is with great regret as we relay the following news:

No word on if by-standers rushed in with pails of water in order to save the local gem.

Columbus to Pasadena: 35 hours.  We're on a road trip through the desert looking for strippers and cocaine... and Rose Bowl wins!

I'd be hard pressed to use any of my pales to put out the fire, even for great Mexican food. Or, God forbid, adding water to my pale!  I do love my pale ales. (especially my current Great Lakes Burning River Pale Ale).

I was at High and Lane about an hour ago and saw all the commotion. Hope it's only a temporary setback for them.

I admit, I have never heard of this place and I love trying new food on campus.

Tragic, good little Mexican dives are so rare.

Not really a dive anymore, it's been remodeled recently, but the food was fantastic, I agree.

This place was great, just opened when I was in school. But thinking of Mexican food and campus only makes me sad because I miss la bambas.

I think when I lived on Patterson from 2002-2003, it was Blue Nile and the Taj Mahal was on the corner of High and W. Patterson. I could be wrong, but I'm hoping my memory is serving me correctly.

I feel your pain. About 40 years ago I watched my favorite watering hole go up in flames. a total loss. They relocated and turned it into a high class joint, never was the same.GO BUCKS!

I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.

Cazuelas is... alright.
Plaza down on Chitt and High is much better. Best burritos and margaritas in the entire city. But I do quite enjoy Cazuelas. Glad it's safe.

When I walked in this morning and saw the flag was at half mast I thought, "Alright, another bureaucrat ate it." but then I saw it was Li'l Sebastian. Half mast is too high. Show some damn respect.
