Ohio State has offered one of the top remaining kickers in the 2026 class.
With Jayden Fielding graduating and Jackson Courville entering the transfer portal, the Buckeyes extended an offer to Jacobo Echeverria, the No. 10 kicker in the 2026 class according to Kohl's Kicking Camps.

Echeverria is coming off a standout senior season at Upper St. Clair (Pittsburgh), where he made 12 of 13 field-goal attempts with a long of 41 yards. He also went 46-of-48 on point-after attempts, with both misses coming on blocked kicks, and recorded touchbacks on 60 of 70 kickoffs. Echeverria also handled punting duties for the Panthers, averaging 48.2 yards on 14 punts with 10 downed inside the 20-yard line.
Ohio State is expected to add multiple kickers this offseason, likely including one from the transfer portal. Another could come from the high school ranks, such as Echeverria, but everything remains on the table for the Buckeyes with neither of their 2025 kickers set to return in 2026.
