Erasmus Hall (Brooklyn, NY) speedster Curtis Samuel was named Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of New York. Samuel won the award based not only for his on the field production, but also for his commitment to his academics and volunteer work.

“Samuel is a big-time player, a game-changer,” said Pete Gambardella, head coach at Curtis (New York, N.Y.). “He’s just so fast, he can take a ball from any position and make a play out of nothing.”

Congratulations to Curtis on the achievement, we're looking forward to seeing you in Scarlet and Gray.
