My parents live in Knoxville, I'll be down there over break. I might road trip to go see this.

When I walked in this morning and saw the flag was at half mast I thought, "Alright, another bureaucrat ate it." but then I saw it was Li'l Sebastian. Half mast is too high. Show some damn respect.

+1 for the GIF! I couldn't stop laughing.

"Out of sight" gif THEBADOWL!!! LOL!

THE URBANATOR AND HIS BOYS' JOURNEY HAS JUST BEGUN; 26-0 IS COMING BABY!!

AV deserves the Helmet Sticker lead purely for this...sorry BvTW

I am indeed a fan of the genuine Buckeyeneer upvote. How do you think I got the stickers I have? My rugged good looks, keen intellect and razor-sharp wit?

Oyster's picture

I thought the fetching Mrs. Vance was one behind your success?  Missed your chance on that one...

Damn. See what I mean about my razor-sharp wit and keen intellect?

Just an FYI Andy, if she is wearing a Purdue jersey when you get home tonight, it means you're not going to score.

CALPOPPY's picture

No oyster, you have it backwards. If she's wearing a Purdue jersey then that means she wants him to score at will.
Now, if she picked out a Purdue jersey for him, then...

I'm a hurtin' buckaroo.

I hear you can get second-hand stickers much cheaper from Hovenaut's Sticker Emporium.   Rumor has it he takes them off of BuckeyevsWorld's helmet while he's sleeping or playing video games.

Italics are for emphasis.

Unky Buck's picture

I thought I saw him with about 37 to 38 more helmet stickers from last night to this morning. They magically came from somewhere...

I wasn't supposed to say anything, but, I have it from a trusted source that when the switch to new forum takes place, people who posted risque pics and gifs in the past will have their helmet stickers downsized in an appropriate measure in proportion to the amount of said pics and gifs they posted.  Even if they tried to delete them all once they became a MOD.  As they say, once you post it on the internet, it is there forever, not matter how many times you try to empty that recycle bin.

But I haven't played a game in months. :(

"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

Wow, is that ever adorable.

If this is truely where upvotes come from.  I'm going to start caring about them!

I'm so glad you followed up this morning's Skully to make my lunch hour.

pretty cool regardless, but I think this is fairly old news

I was into Eddie George playing Julius Caesar before Eddie George playing Julius Caesar was popular.

Impressive!  EG NAILED it!

SilverState's picture

His last line really needs to be "I am THE Julius Caesar."

doodah_man's picture

This was with Nashville's repertory theater. God knows I tried to get tickets.

BTW, he got fairly good reviews as I remember. Also, he tended to out gain Cassius and Cicero in yards after contact....

He's doing Othello this winter. Guess I'm going to have to head to Nashville to see this...

Our Heisman trophy winners are better than yours.

Earle's picture

They made some minor plot changes at Eddie's insistence.  The best part is when he disregards an option play called by Coach Cooperus, stiff-arms the entire Roman Senate and trucks Cassius for the winning score behind Brutus' lead blocking.  They go on to triumph over the Trojans and the empire is saved.

Italics are for emphasis.

Whoa Nellie's picture

Et tu, Brutus?

“Don’t fear criticism. The stands are full of critics. They play no ball. They fight no fights. They make no mistakes because they attempt nothing. Down on the field are the doers, they make mistakes because they attempt many things.”

Earle's picture

Yeah, that was one of the lines that had to be altered.  As you know, in the original version, Brutus leads the conspiracy to assassinate Caesar, and that just wouldn't fly with Eddie.  The revised line is "Nice pancake, Brutus"

Italics are for emphasis.

Oyster's picture

Did you feel that?  It was a collective GROAN from every 11W poster.

That was good. Who knew Eddie was such a thespian?  Maybe he'll be the next"Rock", but able to act.

"Say my name."

andyb's picture

Hey man...to his credit the Rock has gotten better as the years have gone on...He was absolutely terrible in the early days when he was still with the WWE...I think some of the more recent stuff is really good.

Oyster's picture

But I thought he took acting classes when he was in the WWE...

Is there anything Eddie can't do. I'm starting to lean towards NO.

Eddie should give the pregame speech for The Game, and recite the St Crispin's Day speech from Henry V

Got tickets for Othello! Bought the package where you get to meet the cast. Wonder if it is improper to occasionally shout O-H during the performance?
