WHO ATE GRIMACE'S CHEESEBURGER YALL? THAT WAS HIS MIDNIGHT SNACK.

Mark Dantonio replaced Connor Cook with Andrew Maxwell for Sparty's final drive, and it went about as well as you'd expect for a cold Sparty quarterback stepping into a game-defining drive. (He went 0-3.)

Tommy Rees went 14/32 for 142 yards and a touchdown in a passing game that could best be described as "throw it deep and hope for a flag," which was surprisingly effective on the day.

Notre Dame takes on Oklahoma next week.

Notre Dame sucks.  Bollman sucks even more.  Too bad for Sparty that their offense will always be crippled because of their OC.  It was pitiful to watch--that dipsy doodle for an interception. . and they were moving the ball.

Bollman will be binging on shrimp and plankton tonight.

Love that picture of Kelly--7 shades of Kelly.  Such an A$$.

Bollman is a HOF talent at getting the least possible output from the top athletes on the offense.  The only reason Ted Ginn and Santonio were able to be productive was because they were NFL players in the college ranks.  They were too good not to shine.
As far as Beanie and Pittman, they benefitted from Dave being called 59 times a game.
Pryor could have been the best QB in the nation by 2010 but he was running a middle school offense.

Bollman wasn't calling the plays when he was here, it was all Tressel.  It was evident in 2011 that it was the first time Bollman had to actually be the OC.  He had the title as OC and money that came with it, but it was all Tressel calling the shots.

C'mon Sparty.  I can't figure out why in the world they would have hired Bollman.

After watching that game and seeing two questionable at best pass interference calls I won't put this one on the walrus.  Those refs had shamrock colored glasses.

Those two calls were horrible.  The first one was ridiculous.  The second one, as the announcer pointed out, "no advantage" was gained by the minimal hand checking by BOTH players.
Big Ten refs too.

I would agree that those calls were iffy at best, but Sparty couldn't move the ball all day. Their offense is basically non-existent and that won't get better with the Walrus calling the shots.

Yeah two mediocre teams.  ND is nowhere near last year.  MSU desperately needs a playmaker quarterback in their system.  And of course, it's even hard for a walrus to score a TD.

Fell asleep watching this gem, all I have to say on the matter. The fact that Notre Dame was in national championship game is A joke, and Sparty is gunna Spart.

ND had 212 yards of offense and still won.
