Four-star quarterback Brandon Harris and Ohio State offensive coordinator Tom Herman pose in the Horseshoe

Four-star quarterback Brandon Harris of Bossier City (LA) Parkway, considered one of the nation's top dual-threat quarterbacks, is visiting Ohio State ahead of Saturday's Elite 11 quarterback challenge and judging from photos he posted to Twitter, the Buckeyes rolled out the red carpet.

In addition to Ohio State, Harris has offers from the likes of Auburn, Baylor, LSU, Texas A&M, Nebraska, North Carolina and Alabama – indeed, he's fresh off a visit to Tuscaloosa to meet with Nick Saban and his staff – and securing his services would be huge for the Buckeyes. As it stands, he's thought to be an LSU or Texas A&M lean, but he's on campus and a lot can change once a recruit sees a school (and meets Urban Meyer) in person.

Nice looking kid and bigger than I thought.  Hope he camps well!

Braxton only smiles while he's breaking ankles.

It looks like he is about 6'4". Good looking kid.

I don't see how he can be an LSU/TAMU lean when he is straight up loving the buckeyes right now.
Maybe I am wrong, what was his twitter pic before he changed it? Does he change it for each program he visits? He seems genuinely loving OSU the most from what this weekend is showing.

I saw a UFO once.......it told me to have a goodyear!

His picture was of him and Saban.

I'm not getting my hopes up, as I don't think he leaves the state (aka ends up at LSU).  There are many reasons I think that, and although I don't doubt he loved his OSU visit, I don't think we have much of a shot in this one unfortunately.

If we can get him from the south that will be a steal. The sec is great these are not ready for spread offenses in the Nfl.

Based on what I've seen and heard about Brandon, I agree that getting him from the south would be an absolute steal.  I really hope we can pull it off, but he just seems pretty firmly rooted in the south based off what I've seen.  When I was looking at his twitter yesterday to get updates on his trip, I noticed that he's in a pretty serious relationship and by all accounts family seems very important to him.  I just feel like those are factors that shouldn't be taken lightly, as I get the feeling he would like to stay closer to home. You never know though, and if we can convince him that OSU is the best place for him and his future, then all bets are off.  I'll never count Urban out, regardless of circumstances.

Either Brandon is pretty lean or Braxton looks to be bulking up a bit.

I noticed that too.  Braxton is definitely a thick dude.

I'd like to watch the entire video that was posted.

Hyde and Smith have about 20 lbs on Miller, but Ball and Dunn are similar. He's a QB built like a running back. He's got some beef to his frame.

I'm shocked that Urban didn't make him change out of his blue~

Let's not speculate too much -- recruits and their families do read this (great) site.
The kid will go where he will go.  Hopefully here, because wow.
