PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
With the score tied at 75 and the seconds winding down, Aaron Craft introduced Iowa State to their offseason.
Awesome, instant classic.

Who was guarding him when he hit the shot... This guy.
Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...
Nice Toad. Looks like the same guy who last game versus Notre Dame was doing this.
That guy learned his lesson... so did this guy.
Karma's a bitch, ain't it?
"Sherman ran an option play right through the south" - Greatest Civil War analogy EVER.
actually she's a slut, she f*%ks everyone ;)
yes! thank you for that, Toad. That's exactly what I thought when that dude shouldered him. What a punk...but, he just motivated/pissed off Craft.
I'm wondering if Craft would have taken that shot if #31 didn't do that and then wasn't guarding him at the end like that.
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
Bucks, there is no way that that bump (and that punk subsequently guarding him at the end of the game) had any effect on Craft's decision to shoot his game-winning shot, because that would be a decision based on personal circumstances and we all know that Craft is the ultimate teammate who never puts personal circumstance or gain above the team. It was just the right call because they were switching all the screens.
Orlando Pancakes is right:
Craft said in the post-game that he saw the switch and wanted to take advantage of the mismatch of the bigger Niang on him.
Yep, and Niang hedged his bets by playing not to give up the lane. The two steps forward by Craft backed him up just enough to get a really good look. I know Craft is not a great shooter, but give anyone that good of a look and they're liable to stick it.
And as much as everyone is crying over the charge, I guarantee you that the Cyclones are seeing the turnover on their last possession and the missed rebound on the Buckeyes' next-to-last in their nightmares.
The one guy that started to run out on the court... Rav took care of that
Beat me to the comment. Thought the exact same thing!
I was laughing so hard at the gif, funny as hell.
The look on Rav's face is like, "Get.. your... ass... BACK HERE!"
But everyone was telling me that Aaron Craft can't shoot from the outside...
I don't know if I've ever cried so hard that I needed someone to help me walk.
"But I'm tryin' Ringo. I'm tryin', real hard, to be the shepherd"
Is my life the only one that experiences the agony and the ecstasy with these games? No, I read the open thread and take comfort in knowing other people are yelling at the tv and occasionally often throwing around the expletive. My wife thinks I'm nuts, by the way.
You are not alone, my friend.
How do I save all the GIFs so I relive them everyday?
Make this page your homepage so every time you open your browser this pops up.
I was in Dayton for that shot and all I thought was Craft shot over the guy that rammed him when they were walking back to their benches......KARMA is B#tch #31
I wonder what craft said to that bitch after the whole "accidental" shoulder bump. Then craft swatted his hand away. That was great to see.
Bury me in my away jersey, with my buckeye blanket. A diehard who died young. Rip dad.
Poetic justice.... Try to be jerk and got caught on national TV, then burned at the end of the game.
Iowa State is/was a good ballclub. Love "The mayor" as a coach too.
Actually you can re-watch the game on CBS, because being in the stands I had no idea about the charge call issue until I heard about it from a friend. It also showed the player ramming into craft before the time out. It look like Craft said...C'mon man...then #31 threw up his hands when he saw the ref coming his way like "I didn't do anything" then tried to walk toward Craft again...wasn't sure to say he was sorry or to talk more shite but ref got there first...after the break the ref went right for #31 to "talk to him" again....I think had anyone been guarding Craft, but #31 at the end he would have given it up to DT, but when he saw the switch and #31...Craft's competitive nature took over:)
@Nightmuse - I think you're 100% right. Craft wanted to stick it to him.
