"The height of human desire is what wins, whether it's on Normandy Beach or in Ohio Stadium." ~Woody Hayes~
I must be a wuss, cuz I got a bit misty-eyed - seeing all those fans at the curb and knowing how hard it's been to be a Buckeye fan lately. Hopefully this is the beginning of a turn around...heck, it already is.

love this. already seriously regretting not going to this send off (effin class). great to see such massive support for the basketball team from an alleged football school
I used to work at Nationwide Arena, and acts always know that they can pump up the crowd with the standard OSU cheer. However, the Pussycat Dolls girl (Nicole?), failed miserably by saying (dead serious, mind you), "H-O." Then, to make it worse, she repeated it incorrectly and wondered why people weren't responding with "I-O." Quite the hilariously ironic mistake.
Whenever the Bucks have had a very good football team, I have always thought that they would beat whoever they were playing. It didn't matter how good the other team was, this is The Ohio State Buckeyes and all we do is win.
So you know what? Screw you Kansas, and screw you Louisville/Kentucky! You are the ones who had better play your best games if you think you have a chance against OSU.
To err is human. Really sucking requires having yellow stripes on your helmet.
I think the "kidding" part meant he knew they flew down...especially since there was video of them arriving by the time 11 PM rolled around and it's obviously not a 5 hour drive down.
Yeah, I got that although it wasn't a very good joke so I chose to ignore it. I just thought it was worth mentioning that OSU sends their own bus and drivers down to NOLA to haul the team around rather than hiring a local service.

Played this for my 8 yr old after failing to explain how awesome it was for the team to get to the final four. Her response was "awesome" and she asked if we could do this for her soccer games.....
However, if we bring home a title, I WILL BE THERE!!!
Back in '03, I was there along with a ton of other bucknuts (probably some of you guys) on a Saturday morning in January. The temp was between 10-20 degrees. We were all there to cheer on the returning champions from the desert.
It was cold as hell but I wouldn't have missed it for the world!

Kind of love that our busses are painted up like it's still the mid-80s.

Everything else you said is cool, but its NEVER hard to be a Buckeye fan, brother!

How many hours bus ride is it to Nawlins?
Kidding.
"Here officer, hold my beer while I find my license."
The team flies. I have a friend who drives for T&P who deadheaded to NOLA to drive the team bus once they arrive.
