The Wiz is back with his list of cheap shots of the year and there are many worthy candidates from 2008. Here, the Gophers get in on the action by going dirty two plays in a row during their beatdown at the hands of Iowa:

Off topic, does anyone have any experience buying OSU football tickets online?
Any suggestions??
http://www.theclevelandfan.com...
explains a lot......
I bought a ticket for the Penn State game on Stubhub.com
had no problems with it.
That hit on the Tulane quarterback was probably the most flagrant cheap shot I've ever seen. You literally couldn't miss it.
Yeah, I voted for the Tulane QB assassination. But the Auburn Lineman was Denver Bronco's Dirty. That nearly got my vote.
Just give everyone a heads up... 1460 can also be found at 97.1 The Fan (I just found this out this morning). It's like a gift from God. It doesn't matter where you are or what time of day it is, the station comes in clear as day! (It almost sounds funny)
There was nothing worse than hearing a good conversation at one stop light and losing it by the time you reached the next...
yup, saw that in the links thingy on the right side of the main 11w page ;-)
Don't hate on the blind!
hmmmm.......don't think I got too many of the peace loving protest jeans.
Boyd to Clemson... oh well.
we'll get someone next year
i used stubhub for the LSU and USC games. no problems w/ the tickets.
No real loss on Boyd. Would have been nice, but it hasn't been looking like OSU for some time now.
I'm sure that "Terrelle Pryor Plays Here" sign didn't help.
Hall and Brown would be much better for The Program...
This guy pretty much stated the obvious. At least he apologized for ripping on TP.
Terrible decision by Boyd. Obviously playing right away is alot more important than he said it was.
Good news for Austin Boucher. Don't sleep on this kid, guys. I watched him play several times this year. He's an outstanding athlete with all the tools. Led his team to the state title this year. I could definitely see him starting one day.
Never mind. boucher already commited to Toledo. I dont see Tress infringing on an in-state school's commits.
Two QB's this year, WOW!! God please look after #2. We are in BIG trouble without him.
Terrible decision because he didn't pick your school?
Dabo showed flashes of competence this year; it could end up being Boyd keeping the program afloat with marvelous plays, a la Pat White under Coach Stew last year.
I wouldn't be so quick to criticize.
Pogue you are always the quickest to criticize, although your forte by far is criticizing the criticizer. So i guess your preference is to be the second quickest, but you get the point.
It does get a little old
I think he commited to Miami(OH), but it doesn't appear solid. His brother is going to Miami(OH), but I think if we extend an offer, which I heard we have, there is a good chance he could find his way to OSU.
This actually a good safe offer by JT and Company. By offering Boucher, it gives the team depth and a possible solid backup, yet it still leaves the staff open to getting Gardner in '10 and or Miller in '11.
I think they can add Krabbenhoft's forearm shiver to Purdue's Lewis Jackson in tonights game to this list.
Well, when I tell you to slow down, you must really be a bitch, because I'm bitch-in-chief 'round these parts more often than not.
Big win for Purdue........and the Bucks.
LIC is the qb of the future and people who think different can suck on on deez nuts. Braxton Miler is the next HNiC by the way for all you pussy pannicky petes.
I hope to hell they can get Boucher or another scholarship worthy QB. They're only 2 hits away from having to play a walk-on. Walk-on=no reps. No reps=no wins.
