Or at least he will when he sees this.

  2. Wow, he’s definitely going to Penn State after seeing this. I just wrote a petition to the NCAA for extra eligibility, so I can go play there, too. This was too convincing. Hopefully this violates some NCAA tampering rules or something. We might lose all future recruits if they see this as well.

I was reading a chapter from the KJV Bible, it was also written by Joe Paterno.

Weird, anybody else noticing on the recruiting front that Illinois is becoming a thorn in our side? Seems like every Ohio kid that OSU is on, already has an offer by Illinois and likes them alot. The Zooker seems to be doing a pretty good job with some of these kids. Saw it this year with Cordale Scott and already next with Fellows.

Zooker is an Ohio native, so chances are he still has a lot of connections in the state high school football community.

Now I wish I had gone to Penn State… What a tool. This guy is as bad for PSU as the “Sleepy Rappers” are for us.

Too g.d. funny. Other than a tongue-in-cheek rip or being a complete douche, why would anyone put this together (other than to show off the pony tail)? Kinda makes me wish I’da been a better jock 40 years ago and not settle for a D-III school, where I didn’t play, anyway.. Where do you come up with this stuff? Great stuff, Jason, keep it up.

the clip was funny as it started, it just went all to hell when he went side profile and unleashed that glorious ponytail on the world.

CL: With respect to Ron Zook and recruiting in Ohio, I’m convinced he has a Rivals.com account, gets their preliminary look into the Ohio Top 50 for the next year, and offers every single one of them a scholarship. There’s seemingly no rhyme or reason to who he offers. He just wants to get Illinois’ name out before Ohio State swoops in for the kill.

Actually, it’s not at all unlike recruiting in the SEC

Seriously, why did he have to have a ponytail? Why?
When he turned his head and showed it to the world, omg.

  13. I’ve already convinced myself that he’s actually one of yours, and this is some nefarious plot to sway Pryor back to Ohio State.

He’d better be a secret agent of ours. If I were a p*nn st*t* grad, I’d be checking this guy’s diploma and asking him to turn in his alumni card.

I love wannabes like him. “I played junior varsity for Hilliard - BEFORE they split, mind you - so I know football like the back of my hand.” Lawd. I hear that kind of crap at the YMCA almost every other night.

Nice to see we have some other D-III players on here. It was fun, wasn’t it?

  16. No, the ponytail comes with the degree.

Also check the Black Shoe Diaries attempt to dissuade Pryor from attending Ohio State, quoting an ESPN article from Nov 2004 concerning a Cooper recruit and the classes he was “told” to take at Ohio State.

I guess Antonio Smith asked for Mechanical Engineering classes and this Sammy Maldonado asked for remedial math and reading.

Joe, D-III was fun while it lasted. My freshman year was Jim Heacock’s senior year. He’s a tad over his playing weight these days.
