Congrats, Ohio State! You figured it out! The defense, much maligned at the start of the season for inconsistent and confused play, is now fixed forever. From here to the literal heat death of the universe, the Silver Bullets will allow no more than 50 yards per game en route to ten billion championships in a row or however many they can get before the expansion of the sun boils off all the water on the planet, killing all life.

Lofty goals to be sure, but that's what a 52 point win against Akron will do for you. This week on the Dubcast we discuss the tyranny of high expectations, figure how who the starter should be at quarterback (it's Stroud) and get kind of excited, maybe, about the defense? I don't know, it still feels weird to have hope.

Plus: Ask Us Anything (which you can do at dubcast@elevenwarriors.com) wants to know what books we'd write if we had the time and/or the ability. A Where's Waldo rip-off seems like it'd be my speed.

RUN OF THE SHOW

And that's it! Thanks as always to Travis for the cool, cool logo, thanks to you for listening and checking out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next week!
