As always, The Simpsons (which aired from 1989 to 1998), has a clip for everything:

There are a lot of things in sports/life in general that are both popular and profoundly uncool. The Muppets are puppets where their half-assedness is part of the joke. Weird Al has made a multi-decade career out of food puns layered over the beat of popular songs. And quick cals are just if you're happy and you know it clap your hands and then touch your knees and then touch your face and then clap your hands.

All of those things are profoundly uncool, but dammit if I don't love all of them (except quick cals, which are terrible). And that's the thing: as long as people like something, it can perpetuate for a long, long time.

So now we have 0 jerseys, and this week the Dubcast talks about why that absolutely rules and why Ryan Day is cool and good for building up the culture around it. Also: it's Halloween! And super hot wings via Ask us Anything (which you can do at dubcast@elevenwarriors.com)!

12:52 Polls are dumb, but funny, so we'll allow it.

34:20 Tim Burton and hot wings chat. Yeah buddy!

And that'll do it. Thanks as always to our good buddy Travis, thanks to you for listening and checking out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next week!
