I just wanted to remind you all that we will soon have multiple sports to watch. We've nearly done it.

Word of the Day: Percolate.

GOODBYE, TESTS. It took a global pandemic, but Ohio State's (temporarily) ridding itself of the most annoying college admissions requirement on the planet – the SAT or ACT.

Because of the challenges surrounding standardized tests caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, The Ohio State University has made the submission of SAT or ACT test scores optional for current high school students and transfer students applying to the Columbus campus for 2021.

This one-year accommodation underscores Ohio State’s commitment to reducing barriers for students who plan to apply for admission to Ohio State for the 2021 application year.

All applicants are encouraged to take the ACT or SAT if possible and submit test scores if they are available, as Ohio State believes that standardized test scores provide useful information about a student’s success as a Buckeye. However, all students will receive full consideration in the admissions process and in reviews for scholarships, direct enrollment to their college or school, Honors and Scholars Programs, and the Morrill Scholarship Program if they are unable or choose not to submit a score.

As I human who greatly excelled on both of these exams and tutored high school students in math, I'm 100 percent confident they're useless in determining someone's college preparedness or intelligence.

But hey, they're really good for learning how analogies work!

B1G'S BEST. Ohio State wouldn't need the rest of the Big Ten's help to put together an entire NFL team of Buckeye alums, but it would be just a bit naive to think the rest of the conference wouldn't help at least a little.

I mean, what would they ever do without JJ Watt to add depth to the defensive end rotation?

There's some solid representation, but there will be no rest until all 22 players on this list are Buckeyes.

ALL-DECADE. It's June and apparently we're still doing All-Decade recaps. It seems a little late, but I'm all for it if it allows us to talk about Aaron Craft in the middle of a pandemic summer.

And the scrappiest Buckeye point guard of the past decade is joined on the same all-decade team by the best Buckeye point guard of the past decade.

Folks – D'Angelo Russell.

I know this isn't how recognition teams work, but I now can't stop imagining an Ohio State team featuring both Aaron Craft and D'Angelo Russell in the same lineup – so much grit, so many step-back threes.

MISSING HOME. Quarantine is hard enough when you're not an international student legally unable to return to your home country. That's been Ohio State women's hoops star Dorka Juhasz's life these past few months, and she's starting to feel the pain.

Even though she uses FaceTime daily to connect with her father, Zsolt, mother Hajnalka Balazs and yellow Labrador retriever Jackie (named for actor Jackie Chan), it is not the same as being there.

“To be honest, it is getting a little worse,” Juhasz said last week. “Right after the season, it was bad because all my teammates went home and I couldn’t. Then it got a little better, but now we are getting closer to the end of summer and it is getting worse.”

There is homesick, and there is homesick without knowing when you can get home.

Juhasz hopes Hungary eases travel restrictions in early July, but even then she is not sure she wants to risk the possibility of leaving the U.S. and not being allowed back in for fall semester and the beginning of basketball.

Finding your footing on foreign soil does not make things easier. After two years in Columbus, the United States does not feel so foreign to Juhasz anymore, but it is not home. It is not her grandmother’s goulash or being able to hug Jackie around his neck.

“Sometimes I make chicken paprikash or Hungarian crepes, so I try to cook a little bit, just to not miss Hungary that much” she said. “But it is different from how my grandma or mom makes it.”

I feel you on the food, Dorka. I haven't been the same human being since I've lived outside of Skyline territory – though my arteries are probably in the process of crafting a "Thank You" letter.

BOOMS ON THE HORIZON? TreVeyon Henderson is a noted five-star running back, but he's also turning into a five-star recruiter, and it sounds like he's been going to work.

The secret to young TreVeyon's recruiting success is simple: he's not doing anything special, he's just telling the truth.

SONG OF THE DAY. "Everybody Does" by Julien Baker.

NOT STICKING TO SPORTS. Strip clubs are forced to be creative to reopen amid the coronavirus... A "Godzilla dust cloud" from the Sahara is on its way to the U.S... Inside the brains of psychopaths... A study shows that girls don't want to date men with cats... Our eyes are evidence that our brains are absolutely insane... A Japanese supercomputer is crowned the world's speediest...
