Ryan Day shut down the rumor that's been on everyone's mind since Ohio State defeated then-No. 1 Texas to open its 2025 season.
No, he does not wear a nipple ring and did not wear one against the Longhorns, he told former Ohio State and current Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Cam Heyward on his podcast, Not Just Football.
"I thought it gave me some street cred there for a second," Day said with a laugh. "But, unfortunately, no, I'm not that cool."
Photos initially circulated from an interview Day gave FOX at halftime of the tilt between Texas and Ohio State on Aug. 30, which appeared to show a nipple ring sticking through his polo. The Buckeyes eventually beat the Longhorns, 14-7.
Ryan Day might not have a nipple ring, but he and Ohio State continue preparations for ambitions of another championship ring with their 11th spring practice on Friday.
