We've waited 365 days for this.

The day is finally here. After a year of waiting, replaying every moment, and circling this date in ink, Ohio State walks into Ann Arbor as the No. 1 team in the country with a chance to rip everything Michigan is clinging to straight out of its hands.

No. 15 Michigan, winners of five-straight, is playing for its season, hoping a win can earn them a spot in the College Football Playoff. They’ve taken four straight* in this rivalry, and every one of them has sat like a stone in the stomach of Buckeye Nation.

Today is the day to take back The Game, in their house, with the whole world watching. Buckeye fans, it’s time.

If you're attending the game, it will be cold at a sub-freezing 30º at kickoff and remaining there for the duration of the game. But wait, it gets worse. Snow is expected near the start of the fourth quarter and with it accumulating to the point that a winter storm warning will be in effect in Ann Arbor from 3 p.m. Saturday until 10 a.m. Sunday.

Eleven Warriors Staff Score Predictions

Dan Hope: Ohio State 24, Michigan 17. "A win in Ann Arbor won’t come easily, especially with a cold-weather forecast and Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate coming off injuries. But the Buckeyes will draw from the experience of last year’s national championship run to do what they couldn’t do for the last four years against Michigan – make the plays they need to make on both sides of the ball with the game on the line in the fourth quarter to earn a win over their rival."

Chase Brown: Ohio State 24, Michigan 13. "Ohio State's first two drives could determine the outcome of this game. If the Buckeyes march down the field and score with ease, then we could see Ryan Day and Co. blow Michigan's doors off in the Big House. If not, we could be in for yet another rock fight. My heart wants to pick the former, but my head wants to pick the latter. Here's what my fingers typed: 24-13."

Andy Anders: Ohio State 34, Michigan 16. "Ryan Day completes his evolution as a coach by leaning on the pass game when he needs to, as the defense dominates and overcomes some weirdness to win comfortably."

Kyle Jones: Ohio State 27, Michigan 10. "Ohio State turns it over deep in its own territory, yet again, resulting in the Wolverines’ only touchdown of the day, but Ryan Day breaks the streak with enough big plays through the air to create a deficit that Bryce Underwood and Co. aren’t built to overcome."

Jordan Raines: Ohio State 28, Michigan 13. "Order is restored."

Will Ohio State Cover?

The Buckeyes are favored by 9.5 in this one with the line narrowing a tad as the game approached. All but one of the 12 Eleven Warriors staffers who submitted score predictions have Ohio State covering, while everyone on the staff believes the Buckeyes will win straight up.

What About the Over?

We really like the under with two-thirds of us on staff calling for the combined score to fall short of 43.5 points. The staff average prediction of Ohio State 27, Michigan 13 reflects this belief that there will be some scoring today, but maybe not as much as Vegas thinks.
