The Ohio State football team welcomed The Best Damn Band in the Land to practice on Wednesday. Usually a tradition reserved for the week of The Game, an Ohio State spokesperson told Eleven Warriors that the Buckeyes approached the band about moving the post-practice performance to the program’s second off week. The band accepted the invitation, creating an entertaining evening for Sayin, Matt Patricia and the rest of the Buckeyes.

Ohio State’s decision to move TBDBITL’s post-practice performance to October mirrors a similar shift made a few years ago, when the program moved its Senior Tackle tradition to December. Both events were previously held during Michigan week. By moving them, Ohio State gives itself more time to prepare for its showdown with the Wolverines — a chance to avenge four straight losses dating back to 2021.
