Julian Sayin is emerging as a potential Heisman Trophy frontrunner and Ohio State’s defense continues to be generationally great.
Sayin had his finest performance yet as Ohio State’s quarterback, completing 36 of 42 passing attempts for 393 yards and four touchdowns, while Ohio State’s defense posted its second shutout of the year as the Buckeyes rolled to a 34-0 victory in Madison.
Carnell Tate continued to make his case that he’s the second-best wide receiver in college football – and not a distant second – as he had another spectacular performance against the Badgers, catching six passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns.
Ohio State’s rushing offense and special teams remain areas where the Buckeyes need improvement, but overall, there was much more positive than negative to take away from Ohio State’s dominant performance as the Buckeyes continue to take care of business week in and week out.
Other standouts for Ohio State included freshman running back Isaiah West, who made his case for more consistent playing time with a nine-carry, 55-yard performance against the Badgers, and cornerback Aaron Scott Jr., who continued to show he’s a player to buy stock in as he secured the Buckeyes’ shutout with a hard-hitting fourth-down tackle.
We share all of our top takeaways from the Buckeyes’ win on After Carmen, Eleven Warriors’ official postgame show.
