Former Ohio State running back Jordan Hall was charged with felonious assault after an altercation at a Columbus gas station early Saturday morning that left a man unconscious.

According to WSYX, Hall was charged with felonious assault after surveillance video captured him dragging a man out of a vehicle and striking him several times at a Speedway gas station in Columbus around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
Hall allegedly struck the victim in the face multiple times, causing the victim to hit his head on the ground. The victim was unconscious when police arrived and was transported to Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center in critical condition.
Hall is set to be arraigned in Franklin County Municipal Court on Monday. Homicide detectives are investigating the incident due to the severity of the victim’s injuries.
Hall played for Ohio State from 2009-13, rushing for 1,571 yards and 14 touchdowns over five seasons. He returned a kickoff for a touchdown against Michigan in 2010, which remains Ohio State’s last kickoff return for a touchdown.
