Ohio State is favored to beat Washington by multiple scores, but not quite by two full touchdowns.
While Washington still has another game to play against Washington State before it hosts Ohio State next week, DraftKings and FanDuel have already set betting lines for the Buckeyes’ road game in Seattle on Sept. 27.
DraftKings set the early line a bit closer than FanDuel, as DraftKings installed an 11.5-point spread for the game while FanDuel favors the Buckeyes by 13.5 points over the Huskies.
The first road trip of the season has the potential to be a challenging game for Ohio State, which will have to fly across the country to take on a team whose offense currently ranks in the top seven nationally in both points (54) and yards (568.5) per game, though Ohio State will be the first Power 4 opponent Washington faces this season.
Ohio State is 2-1 against the spread this season. The Buckeyes entered their season opener against Texas as anywhere from a 1.5-point favorite to a 2-point underdog depending on the book, but covered the spread either way in their 14-7 win. Ohio State also covered the record-setting 55.5-point spread in its 70-0 rout of Grambling State, but fell just short of covering the 28.5-point spread in its 37-9 result against Ohio last week.
The Buckeyes are off this weekend for their first of two bye weeks this season before starting conference play next week.
