Trey Leroux will not return to the Ohio State football team in 2024.

Eleven Warriors confirmed Monday that Leroux, who graduated from Ohio State in December and participated in the Buckeyes’ Senior Day festivities before their final home game of the 2023 season, is moving on from football and will forgo his remaining collegiate eligibility.

Leroux, who majored in finance at Ohio State, started a job this week at JPMorgan Chase.

A three-star recruit in the 2020 class, Leroux played only sparingly in his four seasons with the Buckeyes. He appeared in three games as a backup offensive lineman in 2021 but did not see action in 2022 or 2023.

Leroux could have continued to play as many as two more seasons of college football, as he took a redshirt and also still had the extra year of eligibility awarded to all players in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, Leroux is moving on to the next chapter of his life.

With his departure, Ohio State is now at 85 scholarship players for the 2024 season.
