Marvin Harrison Jr. is a consensus All-American.

Hours after he received All-American honors from the Football Writers Association of America on Monday, the Associated Press awarded Harrison with the same accolade for his performances in the 2023 regular season.

Harrison adds the AP All-American honors to the already-decorated list of honors he’s received since the end of November. The 2023 winner of the Biletnikoff Award and the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and Big Ten Receiver of the Year awards, Harrison was named a first-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation (and Pro Football Focus, The Athletic and CBS Sports). He also finished fourth in voting for the Heisman Trophy behind LSU’s Jayden Daniels, Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. and Oregon’s Bo Nix.

To earn unanimous All-American honors for the second consecutive season, Harrison will also need to earn first-team honors from the American Football Coaches Association and Sporting News. Those All-American teams are expected to be revealed this week.

Across 12 appearances in the regular season, Harrison collected 67 receptions for 1,211 yards and 15 total touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound pass-catcher also became the first receiver in Ohio State history with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and the first Buckeye ever with 15 career 100-yard receiving games. Harrison recorded eight 100-yard games during the regular season and scored touchdowns in 10 games, including four games with two touchdown catches.
