Ohio State's defensive line has a new "official" member.
Freshman Jason Moore became the 13th Buckeye freshman to get his black stripe removed on Thursday.

Moore was the highest-ranked of Ohio State's defensive line commits in the 2023 recruiting class, slotting in as the No. 67 overall prospect in the 247Sports composite rankings and the No. 8 defensive lineman. He hails from DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland, the same program that produced Buckeye legend Chase Young.
Moore was the first offensive or defensive scholarship player to shed his black stripe since the start of the regular season, with long snapper John Ferlmann and walk-on safety Brenten Jones both dropping theirs Sept. 13, though quarterback Lincoln Kienholz also lost his black stripe on Thursday after Moore.
Out of Ohio State's freshmen that enrolled in the summer, Moore is the fourth to have his black stripe removed.
