Reunited, will it feel so good?

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Saturday they've signed former Ohio State wide receiver Devin Smith.

The move reunites Smith with Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer and is considered an insurance policy as Jags receiver Tavon Austin, a speedy deep threat in his own right, is battling a quad injury

Smith spent last year on New England's practice squad and hasn't played in an NFL game since 2019 when he caught five balls for 113 yards in four games with the Dallas Cowboys.

Before his stint in Dallas, Smith last logged NFL game snaps in 2015 and 2016 as a member of the New York Jets, who took him in the second round of the 2015 draft.

Multiple ACL tears have limited Smith to appearing in just 18 NFL games, in which he's produced 15 catches for 248 yards and two touchdowns.

With Meyer at Ohio State, Smith was a lethal target as he put up 121 catches, 2,503 yards (20.7 avg) and 30 touchdowns across four seasons.

Update: Smith turned in a pretty spectacular grab earlier this afternoon in his Jacksonville debut.
