Ohio State football season ticket sales are officially underway.

Ohio State announced Tuesday that invoicing has started for renewing season ticket holders while deposits are now being accepted for new season ticket purchasers.

Season ticket sales for Ohio State faculty and staff will begin Wednesday, while student season ticket sales will take place from June 21-24.

Ohio State “hopes to have inventory available to put a four-game ‘flex’ plan and two three-game ‘mini’ plans on sale in early August with more details to come in July.” Single-game ticket sales will begin in mid-August.

“Our hope is that we are at full capacity for our football games,” Gene Smith said in Tuesday's release. “We will continue to work with our university partners and with Columbus Public Health on all of our safety protocols, including strongly encouraging those who are eligible to get vaccinated. You’ll continue to hear that message of support for vaccinations a lot from our department, the university and Columbus Public Health because it is a key component to having a full stadium in the fall.”

All ticketing for Ohio State sporting events going forward will be mobile-only.

Along with Tuesday's season ticket sales announcement, Ohio State released a video featuring Ryan Day encouraging Buckeye fans to get the COVID-19 vaccine if they have not already.

“I want to thank all the Buckeye fans out there who have kept their health at the forefront over the past year,” Day said. “It's been a long year. It's been hard for a lot of us. We're looking forward to getting back to the Shoe. We're very excited to have a full stadium, and a big part of that is getting vaccinated.”
