Social Reactions: Ohio State Fought to the Bitter End in a Battle They Didn't Have the Manpower to Win

Thus ends the extremely weird 2020 college football season, a season that I didn't really think would ever actually happen. But it did! And, generally, it kicked a decent amount of ass.

Yeah, the ending needed a little work and parts in the middle felt disjointed, but it ended with Dabo in tears so how bad was it really? I didn't have high hopes for the championship game against Alabama, but given how many starters were out for the Buckeyes (both before and immediately after the start of the game), it's hard to feel too upset about the outcome. Saban's juggernaut rolls on, and there really isn't much anyone can do to stop him.

So I choose to remember the cool stuff. Trey Sermon inexplicably turning into a Sherman tank, Justin Fields being near-perfect against Clemson, Haskell Garrett getting shot in the freaking face and then turning into the best player on defense... all of that is worth remembering. Thanks guys.

THE REST

The 2021 season is going to be an interesting one, and as long as we can kick COVID's ass in the intervening months, it should be pretty damn fun as well. I'm excited.
