It looks like we're going to get a rematch.

With Clemson dominating Notre Dame in Saturday afternoon's ACC Championship Game, blasting the Irish 34-10 in a game that was more lopsided than the final score, the Tigers locked up a spot in the College Football Playoff, and likely another date with Ohio State in the semifinals.

With the decisive loss, Notre Dame will likely fall below Ohio State in the College Football Playoff rankings. If Alabama beats Florida in the SEC title game as a 17-point favorite, it would likely set up a rematch of last year's playoff semifinal in which the Tigers beat the Buckeyes 29-23.

This will be the sixth consecutive time the Tigers have made the College Football Playoff. Clemson missed out on the inaugural playoff, which the Buckeyes won, but have been in the field every season since.
