Trey Sermon. Trey freaking Sermon.

The Oklahoma graduate transfer running back struggled to find his place in Ohio State's backfield as the season began, maxing out for a single-game high of 68 rushing yards through the first four contests before picking up 112 yards in the win at Michigan State. And on Saturday, he had his bigger breakout yet.

Early in the fourth quarter, he topped 220 rushing yards – on an average of more than 12 yards per tote – to break the Big Ten championship rushing record once held by Ezekiel Elliott.

As of the first minute of the fourth quarter, Sermon has 232 yards on 17 carries. With the ball, the Buckeyes had a 13-10 lead.

Elliott set the record in the 2014 beatdown of Wisconsin that propelled the Buckeyes to the College Football Playoff and eventually a national championship. He rushed 20 times for 220 yards and two touchdowns.
