You don't get football back without also getting back that beautiful sinking feeling of "being way too emotionally invested in this ostensible blowout win this far into the fourth quarter," you big babies!

That's right my friends, gather 'round as we commiserate about a victory over an overmatched opponent that looked good in parts but mostly as it relates to the various insecurities that we have about potential weaknesses in the team that we're rooting for. It's a time-honored tradition, and one that I'm personally glad Rutgers (of all teams) was able to deliver because it makes it just that much more sweet. Damn you, Rutgers. You were supposed to lose by 28 points, not 22 points! Ohio State only rushed for 203 yards instead of the 230 that would've been just fine! Why was Justin Fields throwing meaningful passes in the second half, so many holding calls, where's the running game, I WANT JUSTICE!

Oh, sweet frustration. How I've missed you.

THE TEAM

THE ALUMNI

IT'S A VALID QUESTION

THE REST

Next week Ohio State has a chance to redeem itself after this horrible victory in which they won comfortably against another team that they should destroy by 40 and may only beat by 28. See you next time!
