The Books are loving the Buckeyes.

After a dominant performance against Penn State, both Ohio State and Justin Fields got a little boost in the sportsbooks with the Buckeyes now co-favorites to win the national title and Fields now with better Heisman Trophy odds than Trevor Lawrence.

Ohio State entered the weekend with +225 national championship odds, behind Clemson at +175. But after Ohio State's dominant win, the Tigers' struggle with Boston College and news that Trevor Lawrence will miss next week's game, the Buckeyes are now co-favorites to win the national title, tied with Alabama at +200 while Clemson is down to +225.

The Buckeyes didn't only pass Clemson as a team, but Fields is now ahead of Lawrence in the Heisman Trophy race. With Lawrence sidelined after a positive COVID-19 test, he is no longer the favorite to win the Heisman as his odds have fallen from -120 entering the weekend to +250 now.

Fields, meanwhile, stays steady at +150 after a dominant performance against Penn State, but still does not lead the way as Alabama quarterback Mac Jones saw a massive boost in his odds, moving from +600 entering the weekend to +125 now.
