Making your NFL debut is always special.

For former Ohio State wide receiver Austin Mack, who had to battle ever since he stepped foot in Columbus, perseverance was nothing new. So when he went undrafted and was waived from the active roster on Sep. 5, there was never a doubt that his journey to the NFL was far from over.

After being elevated to the New York Giants' active roster on Oct. 3, Mack was inactive and sent back to the practice squad. However, he was actually signed to their 53-man roster this past week and finally made his debut on Sunday, recording his first NFL catch.

It was a welcome debut for Mack, and hopefully the first of many catches to come for the 23-year-old rookie.

Bradley Roby continues strong season with INT

Bradley Roby has been having a strong year for the Houston Texans (despite the team's 0-6 record) and he added to that with his first interception of the season.

Somehow, that is also the Texans’ first interception this season. Roby, who signed a three-year deal with the Texans in the offseason, has been forced to take on a large role on the defense due to an ankle injury suffered by fellow former Ohio State cornerback Gareon Conley, which has kept him out all season thus far.

John Simon nabs first sack of 2020

Despite the defense of the Patriots playing well in their loss to the Broncos (they allowed *just* six field goals from Brandon McManus), it was not enough as the Pats fell, 18-12.

This was Simon's first sack of the season, in which he has 21 total tackles.

Jamel Dean earns elusive pick-six off Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers, prior to yesterday, had thrown just two pick-sixes in his entire career. Former Ohio State cornerback Jamel Dean changed that with a second-quarter play that put the Buccaneers first points on the board in what turned out to be a rout.

Dean was medically disqualified shortly after arriving to Ohio State as part of the 2015 recruiting class. After transferring to Auburn, he was able to get on the field and parlayed his success into becoming a third round draft choice in 2019.

Now, he is making plays in the Tampa secondary alongside his former Auburn teammate (and another former Ohio State commit) Carlton Davis.
