Every week, Eleven Warriors will dive into the mentions of Ohio State's coaches and players to bring you the #HotTakes and ramblings of Buckeye Nation. This week, we're looking back at the crime scene left behind in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Ohio State is nearing the midway point of the regular season, and it feels like this team hasn't really stretched its legs yet.

The Buckeyes put together another dominant performance Saturday night, this time at the expense of Nebraska.

The game started quickly as a Jeff Okudah interception gave Justin Fields and the Ohio State offense a short field. Fields took advantage, leading a 50-yard drive that he capped with a knifing 15-yard touchdown run right through the heart of the Cornhusker defense.

The snowball grew and gained speed quickly. The Buckeyes scored on every possession in the first half, hanging 38 unanswered points before the break. The Cornhuskers didn't get off the mat until Ohio State had a 48-point lead late in the third, and the backups had mop-up duty as the Buckeyes secured a 48-7 victory.

Let's get to the mentions.

@ Ryan Day

I don't know why I find this tweet so entertaining.

It would've been so easy for Day to actually do this.

This is a good tweet, and I'm saying that as a person who has never watched Star Wars before.

This would've been such a better moment had Day not pulled up. Next time he just needs to tackle the ref.

Oh I get it. You emphasized DAY because that's his last name. Clever!

This guy thinks Day had anything to do with comprising the 2019 schedule, and also that he has control of who the Buckeyes play in conference. Neat.

@ Justin Fields

So before the game even started, Bleacher Report posted this nonsense and y'all weren't having it. I'll spare you the hurricane of responses and tell you that B/R was appropriately buried for this very bad tweet.

This gif makes me uncomfortable.

Yeah, so the NFL can keep its filthy paws off QB1 for two years.

This was literally my favorite moment of the entire game, because all I could think of was:

I always find this gif tremendously satisfying.

When you don't understand the memes.

Hey look, Bleacher Report does know he exists.

@ Jeff Okudah

Yes.

If a rocket launcher were a human.

This is the first time I'd seen this and it made me very happy.

His name is so dynamic.

Tathan!

Nebraska fans might be our nation's most valued treasure.

That's it for this week. See you after Ohio State stuffs Michigan State in a trash can.
