Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins had better numbers against better defenses, but the Heisman Trophy voters gave his award to someone else.

That's fine. Kyler Murray was also deserving of college football's highest individual award, as was Tua Tagovailoa. The voting turned it into a two-horse race that had Haskins on the outside looking in, both figuratively and literally.

During a main part of the broadcast, ESPN featured an interview with Murray and Tagovailoa, and the #disrespek was real.

Ohio State's triggerman was gracious and said all the right things, even though he sat and witnessed another man steal what is legally his property. If this goes down in Columbus instead of the Big Apple, it would've looked more like that scene at the end of Happy Gilmore.

Instead, Ohio State fans took to Twitter. Let's dive in.

@Dwayne Haskins

The sock game was strong.

Pam brings up an incredible point. This is a picture of Eddie George in college two decades ago. This is a recent picture of Eddie George. This man has discovered the fountain of youth. It's probably in his back yard.

For real, what quarterback are you thinking about here? I need one name that isn't Terrelle Pryor.

That truly is the most important thing.

Yeah, real Heisman winners find a way to throw for a school-record 470 yards in that game and then save energy to also play linebacker.

Yes that is why.

That is a hilarious photoshop.

The GOAT beat writer had it right.

I don't know why, but this gif makes me so uncomfortable.

We need a Heisman electoral college, apparently.

It's that easy Dwayne.

Tweet of the week. Hell, maybe tweet of the year.

I've never been given bad advice from a punter, so I guess Haskins should come back.
