Ohio State opened as a 15-point favorite over Maryland on Sunday afternoon, but became a 17-point favorite to beat the Terrapins within 10 minutes, according to Vegas Insider.

In its first four matchups with Ohio State since joining the Big Ten in 2014, Maryland has never come within 21 points of beating the Buckeyes. That said, Ohio State has only won one of its last six games by more than 20 points, and none of those games by more than 23.

Ohio State did cover the spread for the first time in six games in its 26-6 win at Michigan State on Saturday.

The Terrapins are 5-5 this season and are coming off a 34-32 loss to Indiana on Saturday.

Saturday's game at Maryland is scheduled to kick off at noon and will be televised on ABC.
