It looks like Ted Ginn Jr. will be sidelined for a bit longer as the Saints placed the former Buckeye on injured reserve on Thursday, Field Yates reports.

Ginn has been sidelined since week five with a knee injury and now will be out for at least eight weeks as the team officially placed him on injured reserve.
Before the injury, Ginn appeared in four games, catching 12 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 26 yards on three carries.
