Another Buckeye has become an official member of the team as freshman defensive end Tyreke Smith shed his black stripe.

Smith is the seventh member of the 2018 class to lose his black stripe, following Chris Olave, who shed his stripe on Monday.
A four-star defensive end out of Cleveland, Smith was a hyped recruit whom the Buckeyes were able to land over the likes of Penn State, USC, and others.
