Walk-on running back Amari McMahon became the latest Buckeye to lose his black stripe on Wednesday, when Ohio State announced his accomplishment on Twitter.

A 6-foot, 205-pound running back from Dublin Scioto High School, McMahon joined the Buckeyes last fall and will look to earn his first game action this upcoming season.

He is the eighth player and third walk-on, joining tight end Tate Duarte and quarterback Kory Curtis, to lose his black stripe since fall camp began.
