Seven former Ohio State Buckeyes heard their name called during last week's NFL Draft, including defensive end Jalyn Holmes.

Holmes was back home in Norfolk, Virginia, when his cell phone rang. On the other end was the Minnesota Vikings, who would draft him with the 102nd overall pick on Saturday afternoon.

In 36 games with the Buckeyes, Holmes recorded 85 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, five sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He'll be reunited in the Twin Cities with former teammate Pat Elflein, who was named to the Pro Football Writers of America's all-rookie team after he started 14 of the team's 16 games last season.
