Update (11:00 p.m.): According to Calvin Watkins of Newsday, the Jets and Pryor have agreed to terms.

Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com reports Pryor wanted to return to Cleveland to play for head coach Hue Jackson. The Browns, however, were unwilling to meet his asking price after trading for Miami Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry, whom they owe $16 million in 2018.

Former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor could soon join the seventh NFL franchise of his eight-year career, according to a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Pryor bet on himself last offseason and lost in Washington. After reportedly flirting with the Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks, the New York Jets could sign him to a deal as early as tonight.
