Ohio State ended a seven-game losing streak to USC in Friday night's Cotton Bowl with a 24-7 win, which brought to close a stellar career for quarterback J.T. Barrett and 18 other seniors.

Barrett, who completed 11-of-17 passes for 114 yards and rushed for 66 yards and two scores, was awarded with the Sanford Trophy as the game's most outstanding offensive player of the game. Safety Damon Webb, meanwhile, earned the McKnight Trophy (defensive player of the game) after he recorded a pick-six and a fumble recovery.

The Big Ten Champion Buckeyes finished the season 12-2.
