Naturally, some people weren't happy about the alternates. Naturally, one person decided that Urban was the most sensible person to tweet at about their opinions.

When it came out that the numbers would play off of the "Land of the Wolves" theme from 2016, that only sparked the outrage further.
Urban Meyer is the sole reason that the alternates are going to have wolf fur on the jerseys. The only one.

Later in the day, Clemson offensive coordinator Jeff Scott tweeted about Clemson playing in their 14th consecutive night road game. Yeah, the Tigers fans aggressively quote-tweeted it and tagged Urban in the tweet.

Little did the people know that Clemson was going to Clemson and lose that 14th consecutive road night game. At Syracuse. Syracuse is unranked. The Clemson masses were oddly quiet after the game.
Nebraska is only nice if you step off the gas
It's been said that Nebraska fans are nice — that Memorial Stadium is an accommodating place. These things are true.*
*only in the event that the Huskers are winning and Urban isn't up four scores calling pass plays.
So when Urban started to embarrass the Husker faithful, kindness turned.
